Good Morning! It’s nearly 6:30AM here, thinking of what to post these verses come to mind:
Pro 4:7 “The beginning of wisdom is: Get wisdom! And with all your getting, get understanding.
What is wisdom and understanding?
Pro 9:10 The fear of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Set-apart One is understanding.
The fear of Yahuweh:
Pro 8:13 “The fear of יהוה is to hate evil. I have hated pride and arrogance, And the evil way, And the perverse mouth.
The word evil -
H7451
רעה רע
ra‛ râ‛âh
rah, raw-aw’
From H7489; bad or (as noun) evil (naturally or morally). This includes the second (feminine) form; as adjective or noun: – adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, + displease (-ure), distress, evil ([-favouredness], man, thing), + exceedingly, X great, grief (-vous), harm, heavy, hurt (-ful), ill (favoured), + mark, mischief, (-vous), misery, naught (-ty), noisome, + not please, sad (-ly), sore, sorrow, trouble, vex, wicked (-ly, -ness, one), worse (-st) wretchedness, wrong. [Including feminine ra’ah; as adjective or noun.]
In other words, sin. The fear of Yahuweh is to hate sin, wrongness and wickedness. Reminds me of yet another verse in 1 John
1Jn 2:15 Do not love the world nor that which is in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jn 2:16 Because all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but the one doing the desire of Elohim remains forever.
Feedback, discussions and comments are greatly welcome and will reply to.
Have a great day!

Reminds me of another verse in 1 John 3:4 “Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness and sin is lawlessness”
That’s right, sin is lawlessness, and lawlessness is the transgression of the Torah.
Jas 2:10 For whoever shall guard all the Torah, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.
It’s not good enough for us to keep one or two of the commands He gave us and say to ourselves it’s okay if we break 1 command, after all I keep all the rest.
He expects us to keep all of His laws not just some of them.
Jas 2:9 but if you show partiality, you commit sin, being found guilty by the Torah as transgressors.
